Experimental UV Fluorescent Photography 1

This series was started sometime in 2000, and lack of interest had caused it to languish on my computer. These images were created with my old QV-11 and a projector. Abstract paintings were composed using 3x3" strips of tissue paper and fluorescent acrylics. A projector with a blacklight bulb was then placed over the painting. The camera was aimed into the shaft of light from the barrel of the projector. The concept of this experiment was much more interesting than the final product. I may try this again someday.
